We’re looking for a determined, diplomatic, experienced, knowledgeable, and personable Manager of Human Resources to join a dynamic team that is ushering in a new era at Aeries. The Manager of Human Resources will align Aeries’ people, culture, business needs, and mission by evolving and maintaining an infrastructure of practices and policies that motivates and builds the capacity of Aeries’ workforce so they continue to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Your Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of human resources leadership
  • 3+ years employee relations
  • 3+ years professional development, training or organizational development 
  • 3+ years of managing payroll, benefits, retirement packages, PTO, worker’s compensation
  • Facilitating and supporting a remote workforce
  • Experience collaborating with multi-functional, high-performing teams and navigating a family owned and operated organization
  • Demonstrated conflict management skills
  • Human Resources certifications
  • MS Office Suite
  • Slack, Confluence, various HRIS platforms 
  • Project management certification is a plus
  • Bachelors or equivalent work experience required

All About the Job

As the Manager of Human Resources, you will be responsible for ensuring that Aeries provides a mind-blowing employee experience for all of our folks, while ensuring Aeries complies with the law and optimally leverages its people to provide NextGen SIS services to our customers. 

Your Mission, if you choose to accept it:

  1. Ensure Aeries complies with all relevant human resource related laws, regulations, and best practices.
  2. Evolve, propagate, and maintain internal policies, procedures and practices that protect both the Aeries workforce and the Aeries corporate entity.
  3. Develop training and professional development that help tighten the alignment between employee capacities and interests, and Aeries’ needs.
  4. Craft a cadence and practice of performance evaluations for all levels, and ensure management is empowered to make those evaluations meaningful to each employee and Aeries.
  5. Enforce all corporate policies.
  6. Analyze relevant data and information to act on trends, needs, and opportunities related to human resources.
  7. Develop and memorialize human resources and professional development best practices.
  8. Manage recruiting and evaluation of candidates for jobs within Aeries.
  9. Mitigate and resolve conflicts.
  10. Report to the Executive Director of Operations.

Location

  • Our HQ in Orange, California. Aeries is willing to make this role primarily remote for the right candidate.

Compensation

  • $85,000-110,000 annual salary, based on experience and skills 
  • Semi-annual and annual bonuses awarded for exceptional performance
  • Benefits include: medical, dental, vision, 401K, generous PTO, fun people and atmosphere
